두루 아트스페이스는 2002년 개관 이후 동시대를 함께하는 작가들의 삶과 예술적 세계를 공감하고 진정한 예술적 가치를 실현하고자 노력하고 있다. 현대 미술 작가들의 전시를 지원하고 그들의 작품 세계를 이해하며 다양한 아카데미 프로그램을 통해 건강한 미술 문화를 활성화시키기 위한 노력들을 끊임없이 전념하고 있다. 한국 미술의 다양한 작품을 기획 전시하고 해외 아트페어를 통해 한국 현대 미술을 소개하는데 주력해 오고 있다. 2006년부터 해외 유수 아트페어를 통해 황란, 유선태, 김지아나, 이유진, 강형구, 박영근, 우종택 등의 주요 작가들을 배출하였으며 중견 작가뿐 아니라 신예 작가들의 작품까지 아우르며 한국 현대 작가들의 우수성과 작품성을 세계에 소개하고자 한다.

Since its establishment in 2002, Duru Artspace has dedicated itself to empathizing with the lives and artistic worlds of contemporary artists while pursuing genuine artistic value. The gallery continuously supports exhibitions of contemporary art, deepens the understanding of artists’ creative visions, and promotes a healthy art culture through diverse academy programs. It focuses on curating and exhibiting a wide range of Korean artworks and introducing Korean contemporary art through international art fairs. Since 2006, major artists such as Hwang Ran, Yoo Suntai, Kim Jiana, Lee Yujin, Kang Hyeonggu, Park Yeounggeun, and U Jongtaek have been showcased through leading overseas art fairs, aiming to introduce the excellence and workability of contemporary Korean artists to the world, covering not only middle-aged artists but also works by new artists.
