Artist Cha Myung-hee has long walked silently on the pilgrimage route to find the source of painting.
It was a rough journey back to the first stage of the image.
It was an infinite repetition of attempts to analyze and refine the complex world with one's eyes and hands.
The artist has shown his willingness to embody these attempts by simultaneously capturing the "start" and "end" of the world on the canvas. The 'myeon' was trimmed and returned to the 'dot'.
Of course, the mediators of this work and the main characters of the canvas were the "goods."
However, the "lines" with the silent movement have led the audience to the moment the artist's hand touched the canvas.
The artist's breathing stops, and the journey toward the moment when the change in time and space stops unfolds on the screen.
The artist has captured the tremor of the moment of creation, in which the essence of all beings is revealed through his "goods."
The repetition of the "line" also contains a longing for a "point" that the energy of the beginning was condensed.
Each work contains the artist's will to explore the basis of painting and the source of existence, and the power of the creator.
